Role Summary:

Translates complex customer requirements into functional technical solutions. This role bridges the gap between raw concepts and commercial reality by generating precise electrical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and high-value proposals that empower channel partners and direct end-users to implement systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer RFQs/requirements to design integrated electrical and automation solutions.

• Develop comprehensive Electrical Drawings and accurate Bill of Materials.

• Prepare technical-commercial proposals including pricing, lead times, and scope of work.

• Provide technical "pre-sales" support to channel partners to facilitate market growth.

• Collaborate with Product Design and Support teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with standards.

Essential Requirements:

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.

• Proven experience in electrical design and producing technical documentation/BOMs.

• Proficiency in CAD software and advanced Excel for costing.

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industrial sales cycles.

Beneficial Requirements:

• Experience working with Channel Partners or System Integrators.

• In-depth knowledge of automation and switchgear product ranges.

• Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment & Compensation:

Location: Office-based with occasional site visits for requirement scoping.

Travel: Minimal to moderate (up to 25%) for client consultations.

Hours: Standard business hours.

Compensation: In line with relevant industry benchmarks for Paterson grade.
